To service the growing need for efficient, reliable data communications in the harsh environments of "remote" remote sites and industrial facilities. Telenetics has developed a family of data communications products that can operate from various AC & DC power supplies and survive high surge levels and extreme heat and cold. All this without compromising the performance expected from state-of-the-art communications devices.
Dial-Up & Leased line
With the rapid move toward "intelligent" remote sites, where meters, relays, RTU?s, SCADA systems, etc. are able to "talk" via communications devices such as Cellular modems with out the conveniences of 115VAC power outlets and climate control.
Telenetics Corp., a leader in the "industrial" communications market place, has developed a range of communication devices designed specifically to operate reliably in these harsh environments.

The MIU2.4, 9.6, 14.4 and 28.8 are highly sophisticated full duplex, Bell 103, Bell 212A, V.22bis, V.32bis or V.34 data/fax modems that are designed to interface with RS232, 5V logic (TTL) or simple send and receive signals. They operate at full or half duplex on dial-up or 2-wire leased line systems. 4-wire leased line models are also available.
These modems are powered from a patented power supply that enables them to operate on any voltage from 9 to 36VDC or 48 to 220VAC or DC. They are also designed to work in temperatures ranging from -40oC to +85oC, and are surge protected to double the voltage requirements of IEC801-4.
Options include RS422 and RS485 interfaces, 5/12/24/48VDC power supply, and additional surge protection (IEC801-5).
