The Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) and Network Address Translation (NAT) features built in to many of the 8000 Series IADs mean that the IAD automatically generates unique addresses for different workstations. End users do not have to purchase additional IP addresses and can still enjoy the heightened security of hidden internal addresses. Designed to meet CLASS-5 call completion rates of 99.99 percent, 8000 Series IADs provide voice quality that is virtually indistinguishable from toll quality.
