The SpectraComm Dual V.34 delivers two high performance, high reliability V.34
modems on a single SpectraComm card for a total of 32 modems per 7-inch shelf.
It is capable of transmitting synchronous or asynchronous data at speeds up to
33.6 kbps over dial-up or 2-wire private lines. State-of-the-art V.34 trellis
code modulation along with powerful V.42/V.42 bis error correction and
compression is the secret of the Dual V.34’s superior performance. With advanced
data compression techniques, it can achieve an effective throughput of up to 64
kbps in synchronous and 128 kbps in asynchronous applications.
