The The 9135E Two-port EdgeAccess®
Switch is an IEEE compliant Ethernet termination device ideal for
terminating 10M, 100M, and Gigabit Ethernet LAN Extension circuits. It is
designed to provide a smooth transition from 10Mbps to 100Mbps or 1000Mbps
through hot swappable interfaces. The primary application of the
9135E is to terminate 10Mbps, 100Mbps or 1000Mbps LAN Extension services
at the customer premises with SNMP management and a choice of customer
interfaces. The 9135E can also be used in conjunction with Canoga
Perkins 8829, 9119, and L300 family of media converters making it possible
to address a wide range of LANextension requirements. As an
intelligent edge device, the 9135E supports SNMP network management,
TELNET, and out-of-band VT-100 terminal and dial in modem capability.
Graphical management is available with Canoga Perkins’ CanogaView® Smart
Element Manager. Configurations, statistics, and alarms are also provided
via a built in management user interface.
