Canoga Perkins Fast Ethernet Media Converters provide network designers with a new set of LAN Extension tools that allow design flexibility regardless of interface media.  The 9119 is a cost-effective, compact, rack-mountable solution that transforms signals from 100BASE-TX to 100BASE-FX and is transparent to half and full-duplex operation.  The 9119 Media Converter also supports connectivity of up to 3km over multimode fiber in half-duplex mode, and up to 120km over single mode fiber optic cable in fullduplex mode. Canoga Perkins Fast Ethernet products comply with the latest industry standards ensuring connectivity to other compliant data transmission devices. 

EdgeAccess® 9000 Family - The optional 9101 LAN Chassis, 8829 10Mbps, 9119 100Mbps, and 9120 1000Mbps media converters, along with the 9135, 9135G, and 9140 Switches form a complete set of 10/100/1000Mbps Copper or Fiber LAN Extension building blocks for simple, cost-effective, and manageable solutions.  The 9101 Chassis is available with 120/240VAC or -48VDC power supplies for use with powered media converters. It is designed to accommodate a mix of up to twelve rackmounted modules.
