The 9135G Gigabit Two-port EdgeAccess® Switch is a 1000BASE-LX compliant Ethernet device that supports native Ethernet LAN Extension circuits. It is designed to provide a smooth transition through its hot-swappable fiber optic interfaces. The primary application of the 9135G two-port Gigabit Switch is as a demarcation device, terminating one-Gigabit fiber optic LAN Extension circuits at the customer premises with SNMP management and a choice of customer interfaces.  The 9135G can also be used in conjunction with the Canoga Perkins 9120 Gigabit, standalones, or rackmounted media converters. This would satisfy almost any Gigabit application at distances of 90km or more.  As an intelligent edge device, the 9135G two-port Gigabit Switch supports SNMP network management applications such as Openview™ and Sun Net Manager™ as well as configurations, statistics, and alarms via a built-in web server. It also supports out-of-band management via individual terminal and modem serial ports.
