BoostEdge is a robust network appliance that provides a powerful, transparent means of accelerating enterprise application and web content traffic across wide-area networks. The result is real-time, end-to-end performance improvement for remote users, particularly those with limited or shared bandwidth who use business-critical applications. BoostEdge is available in two models. The 1U BE500 supports up to 250 users or 1,000 new connections per second, as well as multiple application types, including e-mail, FTP, and other services. The 2U BE1000 is higher capacity, supporting up to 2,000 new hits per second and can accommodate an optional SSL acceleration board. Both models are available with HTTP acceleration and industry-standard OpenSSL software to manage more secure HTTPS traffic. Both models ship with a built-in SNMP agent and are administered via a browser-based interface, enabling simple and unobtrusive integration with your existing network architecture.
