WANsuite 5230 / 5260
The WANsuite® 5230 and 5260 are intelligent access devices that can be used for private leased line or Frame Relay networks for E1 or Fractional E1 connections. Each unit serves as an enhanced CSU/DSU with a software-selectable data port (two ports on the 5260) and a 10/100Base-T Ethernet port for routing and management. The units provide network statistics for Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3, auto discover DLCIs, offer LMI sourcing to maintain the frame circuit in the event of equipment failure, and provide the statistics needed to enforce Service Level Agreements. The 5260 also features automatic protection switching on the data ports and offers a DSX port for digital voice and can be used as an in-line probe of a Frame Relay circuit. Both models offer SNMPv.2 and remote management with a simple-to-use Web browser interface.
