Verso / Verilink Miniplex
The Miniplex product line is a digital loop carrier that is used to provide a
second voice channel over existing copper wires delivering voice service
primarily to residential customers. Miniplex products give telcos the capability
to provide multiple POTS connections over a single copper pair — a more
cost-effective alternative to resolving copper exhaust problems than the
installation of new copper cable. Utilization of Miniplex as a pair gain
solution also saves companies the time and expense of a traditional DLC system
turn-up.
