The Patton
Model 2500 DigiLink I™ packs all the advantages of a state-of-the-art CSU/DSU
into one compact, affordable package. Specifically designed to work with
dedicated lines, the DigiLink I™ offers the speed and versatility you've
been looking for.
With its high speed capabilities, the DigiLink I™ can operate at all
common digital service rates (2.4, 4.8, 9.6, 19.2, 56 and 64 Kbps). We've
even added a special control port, so you have easy access to
configuration and diagnostic utilities. Nine easy-to-read LED indicators
will always keep you informed of the 2500’s status.
And don't worry about getting the right interface version. The DigiLink
I™ comes equipped with both RS-232 and V.35 interfaces.
For greater dependability, the DigiLink I™ uses specially designed
state-of-the-art SMT and ASIC chips. These unique chips overcome the
problems of heat-generated failures. In addition, these chips allow the
DigiLink I™ to consume far less energy than ordinary CSU/DSUs.
We've also added a number of special tools. A specially designed line
equalization feature automatically compensates for distortion and line
attenuation. Meanwhile, V.54 local and remote loopback tests evaluate the
condition of the CSU/DSUs and the communication link. The DigiLink I™ also
features V.52 compliant bit error rate pattern tests.
The Patton DigiLink I™ is AT&T 62310 compliant, and fully compatible
with Clear Channel™ and other DDS services available from major service
providers including AT&T, MCI and Sprint. Naturally, the 2500 can function
just as well on private lines or campus networks.
The DigiLink I™ is also available in desktop cluster and rack card
versions. |
