The Patton
Model 1093 KiloModem-512™ and Patton Model 1094 KiloModem-768™ baseband
modems facilitate high speed point-to-point connectivity over two twisted
pairs. The Model 1093 supports selectable synchronous data rates of either
256 or 512 kbps, as well as distances up to 2.5 miles (4.0 km), using 24
AWG (.5mm) twisted pair wire. The Model 1094 goes even faster over two 24
AWG (.5mm) pairs, supporting data rates of 384 or 768 kbps, and distances
up to 1.8 miles (2.9 km). Both models support asynchronous data rates from
0 - 115.2 kbps. V.54 compliant loopback diagnostics, V.52 compliant BER
tests, front panel LED indicators, selectable clocking methods,
transformer isolation and surge protection are also standard on both
models. The most unique feature of the Model 1093 and 1094 is their use of
Patton’s QuikConnect™ interface modules. One Model 1093 or 1094 base unit
supports V.24/RS-232, RS-422/530, V.35, X.21, G.703/64kbps, Ethernet
bridge or data+voice hardware (DTE) connections. This flexibility makes
either unit a great value! |
