STRONGBOW ™
Meet the first high-quality,
affordable, low-latency solution
for video compression
and wireless transport.
Strongbow:
- Delivers up to DVD-quality images in full color through
high quality, real-time encoding and decoding of video, audio and related
data;
- Requires as little as 1 Mbps, depending on quality
settings;
- Produces immediate savings;
- Protects investments in legacy equipment;
- Supports NTSC (526/60 @30 FPS);
- Handles audio/video streaming I/O via Ethernet 10/100;
- Supports stereo and mono audio input/output; audio
sampling rates of 11, 22, and 44.1 Khz; and 16,12, and 8-bit audio
samples;
- MemoryLink's exclusive Shapeware means that Strongbow
is easily scalable giving users more control, more flexibility and more
value.
The Low Cost Solution
The MemoryLink Strongbow Video Transport System provides a high quality,
low latency, affordable solution for video compression and transport
across wired and wireless Ethernet devices. Strongbow’s near DVD quality
video and CD quality audio, coupled with a latency of only 100ms, delivers
unparalleled video quality for the price point. Memorylink Strongbow
transport is IP-based, so it can be routed through your network.
Designed For Wireless
Strongbow uses a patented, proprietary algorithm to encode and decode
video, audio and related data streams in real-time to deliver full color,
high quality full motion images. Unlike standards-based video protocols, the
MemoryLink system is optimized for wireless transport. It provides
dynamically variable or constant bit rates up to 8.5Mbps, with frame rates
of 1-to-30 frames per second.
Strongbow Gets Smarter Over Time
With MemoryLink’s exclusive Malachi™ architecture, Strongbow’s hardware
becomes interactive, reprogrammable and reshapable– enabling scalability and
greater dimensionality. Strongbow is superior to competitive technologies
that have built in obsolescence and delivers a far greater value over
silicon-based circuitry.
Easy Setup And Configuration
Strongbow accepts composite video or S-video, stereo and mono audio.
Strongbow encodes and decodes this data and streams it via full duplex
Ethernet. Control and set-up information is accomplished via an on-board web
server that can be accessed remotely via a network connection. The level of
video quality is user defined by selecting the packet size and frames per
second to be transported. The bandwidth requirement is directly proportional
to the quality level selected.
