GDC InnovX® NetPath 24+
Ethernet Switch
Advance QoS Features
Introduction
The Innovx NetPath 24+ provides fast ethernet connectivity with Layer 2
features, and can be deployed as a replacement to legacy hubs or in new
installations where fast, intelligent, Layer 2 ethernet switching is desired. As
part of GDC’s Innovx family of products, NetPath 24+ offers versatility and
reliability needed in mission-critical enterprise environments. The NetPath 24+
is shown below deployed with Innovx routers and switches.
Features and Benefits
• Twenty four RJ45 switched 10/100 Mbps ports
• Two Slots for 1000 Mbps ports (RJ45/SX/LX modulized)
• Auto-negotiation on all 10/100 Mbps ports and support user configuration 10
Mbps and 100 Mbps
• Full wire-speed switching on all ports
• Store-and-forward switching
• Automatic address learning and aging
• Provides Spanning Tree Protocol for reliable network communication
• QoS support for two-level priorities
• Granular QoS features: allows rate shaping in 6K increments on each port
• Load balancing across individual ports and groups of ports with granular QoS
• Supports port mirroring
• Supports bandwidth control.
• Flexible management via console, Web, SNMP/RMON
• Port Aggregation up to seven groups
• Firmware upgradable via web upload, TFTP download or by local file transfer.
Secure and Managed
NetPath 24+ can be monitored and managed using standard protocols, including
craft, Telnet, SNMP over UDP/IP, and HTTP (web). Also supported are MIB II,
Ethernet MAU MIB, Bridge MIB, IGMP MIB, and RMON groups (Statistics, History,
Alarm and Event). Access to the unit is username and password-protected. Secure
Mode and MAC address filtering reject access from the unwanted nodes.
