Extron’s CrossPoint 128 Series Switchers are twelve input by eight output analog RGBS/RGBHV matrix switchers. There are four models in the 128 Series including the 128, 128A, 128HV and 128HVA. The “A” models include two channel, stereo audio (balanced & unbalanced). The HV and non-HV models are identical except that the HV models switch RGB and separate horizontal and vertical sync. All models switch HDTV, component, S-video and composite video as well.

The CrossPoint 128 Series provides the perfect single box solution to simple 200 MHz routing applications. Because each input and output is individually isolated and buffered, any input(s) can be switched to any one or all outputs with virtually no crosstalk or signal noise between channels. Extron designed the CrossPoint 128 Series to offer a less expensive alternative to RGBS/RGBHV matrix switchers currently on the market.

Housed in a rack-mountable, 3U high, 19" wide enclosure, the CrossPoint 128 Series includes RS-232 capability. The unique advantage of the RS-232 control is the Simple Instruction Set (SIS™). These instructions are simple to use, easy to read, ASCII command codes. All CrossPoints come standard with the QuickSwitch Front Panel Controller (QS-FPC™) which allows for touch-of-a-button input and output selection, directly from the front panel.

 

Features

RGBHV- The CrossPoint HV models are available to switch separate horizontal and vertical sync to ensure proper sync polarity to ensure a more stable image. All models switch RGBS, RGsB, HDTV, composite video and S-video as well.

True 200 MHz video bandwidth- The true 200 MHz (-3dB) when fully loaded performance of Extron’s CrossPoint Series Switchers make them capable of switching anything from video to high resolution CAD workstation displays.

Competitively priced- Extron has competitively priced the CrossPoint Series Switchers for the audio/visual installation and rental markets. Not only are the CrossPoint Switchers priced competitively, they are also designed to meet the requirements of all large screen projectors and monitors currently on the market, for any system application.

QuickSwitch Front Panel Controller (QS-FPC™)- The QuickSwitch FPC feature of the CrossPoint Series allows for touch-of-a-button input and output selection. Extron’s QuickSwitch technology eliminates the learning curve usually associated with switching the inputs and outputs of a matrix switcher by using tactile switch front panel buttons for every input and output.

RS-232 contro- A rear panel, RS-232 control port provides for connection of the CrossPoint Series to a control system such as AMX, Crestron or Dataton. CrossPoint’s RS-232 also provides Simple Instruction Set for easy to read command recognition.

Simple Instruction Set- Extron’s SIS™ is a set of basic ASCII code commands which provide simple control through a third-party control system. Instead of programming in long, obscure strings of code, the SIS™ makes it easy to operate an Extron product using RS-232 control.

Buffered I/O- Each input, as well as each output, of the CrossPoint Series is individually buffered to provide maximum performance and virtually no crosstalk.

Audio follow- Extron’s CrossPoint Series “A” models feature the capability to switch an audio signal with its corresponding video signal. This feature also allows any audio signal to be selected with any video signal simultaneously to one or all outputs in any combination. Audio follow switching can be done via front panel control or RS-232 remote.

Audio breakaway- The CrossPoint Series “A” models provide the capability to break away an audio signal from its corresponding video signal. Audio breakaway switching can be done via front panel control or RS-232 remote.

12 memory presets- This time saving feature allows you to set up to twelve I/O configurations and keep them in memory for future use.

Microprocessor controlled- All of the features and functions of Extron’s CrossPoint Series Switchers are microprocessor controlled for maximum reliability and high performance.

Included rack kit- Extron’s CrossPoint Series Switchers are rack mountable in any conventional 19" wide rack.

Internal power supply- The 100-240 volt, auto-switchable, internal power supply of the CrossPoint Series provides worldwide power compatibility.
