The Adit^TM 105 Customer Service Terminal was designed with the needs of service providers in mind - deliver cost-effective, carrier-quality integrated services over SDSL to small-business and residential customers. Service providers deploying the Adit 105 can deliver up to eight voice channels, data, and high-speed Internet access over a single copper pair using an SDSL network connection.

Supports indoor and outdoor installations
The Adit 105 packaging is a compact and rugged "demarc style" housing, which supports indoor or outdoor installations for the delivery of voice and data services. Standard features include eight FXS analog voice ports and an Ethernet data port. Using ATM over an SDSL network connection, the product utilizes ATM Adaptation Layer 2 (AAL2) for voice services compatible with leading voice gateways and ATM Adaptation Layer 5 (AAL5) for data and Internet access traffic.

Utilizes existing building wiring
The Adit 105 supports a lifeline POTS capability during power outages and can be equipped with an optional battery backup unit that provides power for up to eight hours of uninterrupted service. Low-voltage power supplies use standard telephone wire cabling to simplify installation and provide safe power delivery to inside or outside terminal mountings.

Provides integrated loop testing
Installation of the Adit 105 is simple - mount the unit on the wall, connect to the network and to the existing building wiring, and plug in the power. Integrated analog loop testing capabilities offer a powerful tool for remote management and problem determination without truck rolls.
