- 48 individual time slots from two T1 circuits
- Channels from the D/I T1 interface may be directed to the primary T1 on
the same channel or mapped to any module (some restrictions apply for the
DSX-1 module)
- Typically used for multipoint networks
- Only one D/I module may be installed per chassis
- Installs in slot six when used with a TSU 600/600e
- Available as plug-in only
