The ADTRAN OS is a robust operating system that delivers state-of-the-art functionality in two unique product feature packs:

The Standard Feature Pack is the default operating system and ships as the standard configuration on every NetVanta 3000 platform.

The Enhanced Feature Pack adds additional functionality to the Standard Feature Pack. Customers can either add the Enhanced Feature Pack at the time of original purchase or purchase an Upgrade any time.
 

Upgrade Process

An Upgrade Key will be issued in an Upgrade Certificate which customers receive after purchasing a Feature Pack Upgrade. This key is used to upgrade the firmware access privileges on the web for a given NetVanta serial number. The key can only be used one time and is applied to only one hardware serial number.

For customers who would like to Upgrade their NetVanta 3000 Series, here is a summary of the ADTRAN OS Version 4.x Enhanced Feature Pack.

Enhanced Feature Pack:

• Includes ADTRAN OS Standard Feature Pack functionality
• Adds support for IPSec-based DES/3DES/AES encryption and MD5/SHA1 authentication
• Supports up to 5 tunnels in NetVanta 3200, 3205, 3205 DC
• Compatible with all IPSec compliant devices; including the NetVanta 2000 series
